Is Heaven Split?

“Is God feeling a bit under the weather these days?”

“Is our Heavenly Father saddened by our lost of his precious other half the Heavenly Mother?”

Most of the folks who read this might be thinking at this point what on earth is this woman going on about but, that is just it! It is not on earth that I am referring to even though these ramblings do in fact end up perhaps affecting my life here on earth and likely the majority of us in some way or other.

We as humans from the beginning of our existence seemed to have always believed in something that is much bigger than ourselves, on a higher level of intelligence and more powerful which gave some form of understanding to the reasons why things happened as they did. Of course like the majority of living creatures on this planet there are two genders so the higher source was looked for above us and was unseen. Perhaps as we evolved over time we began to think of this higher being or inentity to be both male and female. We gave homage to our divine sky bound god and goddess source during both good and bad events that came in to our lives and in festivities of during the annual seasons.

Men and women walked side by side respected as equals for the contributions each made in surviving life. Menfolk were the hunters, builders, protectors and womenfolk were the life givers, nuturers as well as protectors, usually for those who were either too young or old to protect themselves.

Over thousands of years of learning to recognise the acts played out by nature and living off the earth’s bounty by cultivating the land in order to survive; we became more efficient and knowledgeable in making our lives better. Also our spirituality became organised and more separated, forming into religions based on old ways.

After a while some people of the earth decided that the feminine side should be removed and the masculine eventually filled in the empty space of the goddess. Eventually women started fading into the background and became looked upon by the men as the weaker gender more inferior to men.

I am not a feminist but I do believe in equality for women who are working in the same professions as men as well in the family home but realistically speaking there definitely differences between the physical structure and strength of men and women.

Pondering on the question “Is Heaven Split?” I answer “No Heaven is not split but humanity is and it needs to be brought back into balance through acceptance of the returning missing half of God. So, I have personally accepted the Heavenly source to be both Father God and Mother Goddess just as I did when I was five years old and gradually I am bringing my life into even balance and harmony.
