Lightening-Up

Yesterday was rather a strange day for me which left me in the evening deep in thought, pondering on all the things that are going on around me in general.

I awoke from my sleep as per norm but found myself quietly blurted out to my husband that I had dreamt that my left leg was amputated. It was such a strange dream to say the least.

Saint Brigid’s Day [Imbolc/Candlemas] started out alright with the exception that I forgot my specs which I had to retrieve from home. On my return to the office where I work one of our employees was being laid off which added a heaviness to atmosphere that seem to surround all of us for the rest of the work day. I have now added him and his family to my prayers and hope that with the closing of this door another will open sooner rather than later for him. Also there is a the threat of my husband being in the same boat as well as son-in-law over the next few weeks ahead; up to six months. Trying to be in a positive frame of mind as possible about these negative situations, need to be – in order to gather the strength of encouragement to deal with emotional and mental aspects that may lie ahead.

I am going to have to set some time aside to seriously meditate for healing and direction as soon as possible…
